Selection of articles
The evaluation and selection of the submitted materials is done by an Editorial Committee that includes both internal reviewers and external collaborators (experts in the fields of history, economic studies, political science etc.), following the current academic criteria:
- Relevancy of the article to the theme of the Journal and the degree to which it brings a real contribution to the development of its scientific field.
- Relevancy of proposed theme and originality of scientific demonstration.
- Richness and diversity of factual information used to sustain the theoretical approach.
- In-depth knowledge reflected in the personalized and creative-critical use of the bibliographical resources that are the most relevant to the theme proposed.
- Compliance with the Journal’s writing and formatting guidelines.
The final decision for inclusion is taken if and when the majority of the Committee members have agreed that the quality standards are acceptable.
