Liviu and Fanny Liviu Rebreanu Memorial House is an apartment connected to the Ion Minulescu and Claudia Millian Memorial House. The writer Liviu Rebreanu (1885-1944) bought the apartment in 1934 for his daughter Puia-Florica Rebreanu, who also donated the space and the heritage objects inside. Her wish was for the work of her mother, Fanny-Ștefana Rădulescu (1888-1976), a talented actress, to also be exhibited. The donation was made in 1992, and the apartment was made into a memorial house in 1995, the year Puia-Florica Rebreanu passed away. The space was renovated and included on the cultural-touristic circuit. The collection displays furniture, literary texts, letters, manuscripts, and photographs, as well as particularly valuable paintings by Camil Ressu, Jean Steriadi, Nicolae Dărăscu, Francisc Șirato, and sculptures by Milița Petrașcu, Ion Jalea, and Oscar Han. Visitors will also discover the family’s impressive collection of ceramics, glass icons, and more of the writer Liviu Rebreanu’s belongings.
