The data-driven, algorithm-curated, focus-tested rat race of modern life seems intent on remaking man into a mechanical version of himself – an android. Work. Finance. Friendship. Romance. Personal achievement. Every moment presents us with new problems and, subsequently, countless possible answers.

From this context, inevitable questions arise: What is truly real? What matters, and what is just noise? Who are you when you are alone?

The significance lies less in the answers than in the act of questioning itself. There is something deeply comforting in realizing you are not alone in this quest. Perhaps to be human is to question, to attempt to make sense of and navigate the world. Poems for Androids seeks to accompany the reader on this search.

Octav Codrea was born in Bucharest, in April 1995. In 2018 he graduated from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, with a degree in Philology (English and Swedish). Two years later, in 2020, he completed his training with a second degree, this time in Graphics, at the National University of Arts Bucharest, Faculty of Fine Arts. Since then, writing remains an important part of his life, already producing two illustrated volumes of poetry in English: „Signals in the Night” and „Electronic Sun”. The topics addressed most often are interpersonal relationships, and the relationship of the individual with the world around him in the context of the modern world. His writing and visual style is direct, where he tries to tell things by name and capture states in the most authentic and unfiltered way possible. He currently works as an illustrator, graphic designer and programmer.

The exhibition opening will take place on October 8, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The Poems for Androids book was printed in a run of 200 copies and can be purchased at the opening.

For english, please scroll down Poems for Androids este un proiect format dintr-o carte de poezie în limba engleză, scrisă…

[9,66

post-37507","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-evenimente","category-expozitii-temporare-mnlr-str-nicolae-cretulescu-nr-8
["GET
